Loupee is built so there is as little as possible to secure: your data never leaves your device.

How Loupee protects your data

On-device only. Your photos, outlines, and notes are stored locally on your phone. There are no Loupee servers, no accounts, and no cloud storage — so there is no central database to breach.
No network transmission. In normal use Loupee makes no network requests, so your journal is never sent over the internet and cannot be intercepted in transit.
Operating-system protection. Your data sits inside the app's private storage, protected by iOS's app sandbox and your device's passcode and encryption.
Least-privilege permissions. Loupee requests the camera and photo library only at the moment you choose to use them, and only for the single photo you select.

If you believe you've found a security issue in Loupee, please email amina.isayeva@gmail.com with the details and steps to reproduce. We'll review every report and, where a fix is needed, address it in a forthcoming update. Please give us a reasonable chance to respond before disclosing an issue publicly.

Updates

Security fixes are delivered through the App Store. Keeping Loupee and iOS up to date is the best way to stay protected.
